Translink Advised SIBLU Group In The Acquisition Of Holding New Aire – Campings Grand Sud

Translink Corporate Finance in France supported the Bordeaux group SIBLU in the takeover of the outdoor hotel group Holding New Aire (“HNA”). This transaction allows the European leader in open-air accommodation and the French leader in the sale of mobile homes to owner-occupiers to increase its total capacity by 3,500 pitches, i.e., an increase of 25%.

Financial advisor to SIBLU in this external growth, Translink CF France was able to take advantage of the sector expertise of Jacques-Henri Rieme, active in this sector since 2016.

The operation was financed by a capital increase subscribed by all the shareholders, led by Naxicap Partners, as well as the use of unitranche financing set up by Arcmont in December 2019.

Based in Seignosse, Holding New Aire (“HNA”) operates 7 campsites in France totalling approximately 3,500 pitches on the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean coast:
– Camping La Pointe in Capbreton (40) – 404 pitches
– Camping Les Oyats in Seignosse (40) – 505 pitches
– Mimizan Plage campsite in Mimizan (40) – 617 pitches
– Mimizan Lac campsite in Mimizan (40) – 459 pitches
– Camping Le Pipiou in Parentis-en-Born (40) – 396 pitches
– Camping Les Embruns in Cap-Ferret (33) – 695 pitches
– Le Marisol campsite in Torreilles (66) – 377 pitches

Five of the seven campsites operated by HNA are under public service delegation contracts or long-term administrative leases, which the Group founded by Marc Dauliach had successfully made a specialty of. Siblu intends to continue operating these sites in accordance with their respective specifications. Through this operation, Siblu is betting on the revival of the outdoor hotel business, a trend accelerated by covid, and signs one of the largest acquisitions in the outdoor hotel industry.

Simon Crabbe, President of the SIBLU Group says, “this acquisition of the HNA Group is a significant moment in the history of Siblu and I would like to thank our financial partners Naxicap Partners, Arcmont and Schröder, for their support”.

Thanks to very high-quality, high-investment infrastructure and the complementarity of the locations between the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean rim of this new acquisition, the Siblu group is accentuating its leading position.

Translink advises Israeli tourist resort Tur Sinai on its sale to Israeli association I BELONG ISRAEL

Translink advised Tur Sinai Real Estate Ltd. on the sale of the company to I BELONG ISRAEL (Masa Israeli).

Founded by the Israeli pioneer Tur Sinai family in 1952, Tur Sinai Real Estate Ltd. established the Arazim Valley Plantation on the western outskirts of Jerusalem, focusing on deciduous fruit trees which, at the Plantation’s peak, employed 200 families and was responsible for 25% of the entire country of Israel’s consumption of summer fruit. The Plantation later returned most of its leased lands and commenced with the cultivation of more than 2,000 peach, nectarine, cherry, apple and pear, wine and table grape, plum, walnut, and other fruit trees, implementing the strict regimen of practicing organic agriculture.

In recent years, as the land’s designation was converted to tourism, the place changed its name to Tur Sinai Organic Resort and had hospitality and venue facilities constructed within the orchards thus becoming Israel’s first Agro-Tourism Organic Resort. The Resort continues to cultivate its organic crops, in addition to accommodating events in its venue facility and overnight guests in its suites built according to innovative sustainable building construction standards with attention to energy saving.

The owners of Tur Sinai Real Estate Ltd. decided to sell their holdings of the company and
mandated Translink Israel to search for the right acquirer to buy their holdings.

I BELONG ISRAEL (Masa Israeli) is a national, educational organization, fully mandated by the Israel’s Ministry of Education, operating one of the most important Jewish educational programs today, I BELONG ISRAEL (Masa Israeli) – a transformative, 6-day, Jewish heritage journey across Israel’s landscapes and historical sites.

The acquisition enables I BELONG ISRAEL to establish a base in Jerusalem for their operation and activity for the first time since their association. The rationale for the seller is having I BELONG ISRAEL as the “perfect match” for their vision for the future of the Resort.
