Control Devices, LLC, a portfolio company of HBM Holdings, has acquired Gilmore. Headquartered in Houston, TX, Gilmore, designs and manufactures high-performance severe service valves (check, relief, regulator, shuttle, control, etc.) and other flow control solutions, including custom valves to meet client specifications and pressure relief systems. Its products are designed for demanding applications and harsh environments in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Control Devices, headquartered in Fenton, MO, is a leading designer and manufacturer of engineered flow control solutions in the gas, air and liquid markets. Control Devices offers customised and standard valves, condensate traps, refrigerant distributors, and other products that serve as critical components in end-product applications, including medical systems, air compressors, fire suppression systems, and specialty gas HVACR, and heavy truck braking systems.
The acquisition expands Control Devices’ flow control solutions portfolio while widening its reach in the oil and gas market. This acquisition also broadens HBM Holdings’ expertise in the flow control sector. HBM Holdings and Control Devices will acquire approximately 100 new employees as part of the Gilmore acquisition.
