Finnish pioneer in digital first aid and safety trainings to join with Presto to create the Nordic market leader
2021-09-20 (Helsinki, Finland) Translink Corporate Finance announces the acquisition of Suomen Ensiapukoulutus by Presto. Suomen Ensiapukoulutus is a market leading provider of digitalized, hybrid and classroom first aid and workplace safety training in Finland with national coverage. Suomen Ensiapukoulutus and Presto, supported by private equity investor Adelis Equity Partners, will jointly develop the training business across the Nordic region, offering customers an ever improving offering of digital training courses that are complemented by on-site or hybrid trainings. Filip Bjurström, CEO of Presto Group commented on the transaction: “We continue our growth journey in the Nordic region through acquisitions and the fact that Suomen Ensiapukoulutus will now become part of Presto is a natural step to strengthen our offering in the Finnish market. Finland is an important market to increase the market coverage for our customers throughout the Nordic region with a broad offering.” Translink acted as the exclusive financial adviser to the owners of Suomen Ensiapukoulutus in the transaction. CEO and shareholder Tero Roivainen was very satisfied with finding an excellent synergistic partner with a common view of the future of the industry: “As the market leader in digital first aid and safety training in Finland we wanted to find a partner that could help us expand also abroad.
