Translink advises Atlas on the sale of the company to Gertsen & Olufsen
Translink Corporate Finance announces the sale of Atlas Incinerators A/S, a Danish manufacturer and supplier of incinerators to the marine industry to Gertsen & Olufsen A/S, an international supplier of equipment for the marine industry belonging to Erhvervsinvest. Translink acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Atlas Incinerators. With the acquisition of Atlas Incinerators, Erhvervsinvest take next step in the consolidation of suppliers to the marine and offshore sector. Since 1974, Atlas has manufactured more than 9000 incinerators. The products are sold globally and is primarily used for combustion of waste-oil from the marine engines and solid waste from ships and offshore facilities. Besides production in Denmark, Atlas Incinerators has its own production facility in Ningbo, China. Erik Jacobsen, director and owner of Atlas Incinerators, has decided to sell the company to Gertsen & Olufsen, which was acquired by Erhvervsinvest in April this year.
