Translink Corporate Finance has acted as advisor to Smartsign in the sale to Standout Capital

Translink Corporate Finance in Sweden has served as financial and strategic advisor to Smartsign in the sale to Standout Capital. 

Smartsign, a leading Nordic provider of digital signage solutions, welcomes Standout Capital as a new partner. Standout Capital will become the majority shareholder in the company and is investing alongside Chairman Johan Peters and the management team, who are reinvesting and will remain significant shareholders. The partnership creates strong conditions to accelerate Smartsign’s continued growth and strengthen the company’s position in the international market. 

Smartsign is a Swedish software company within digital signage, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Borlänge. The company develops and delivers a market-leading platform for the management and publishing of digital screen content. Smartsign’s platform is used by approximately 3,000 customers across around 30 countries, including clients in the public sector, industry, retail, healthcare and corporate communications. 

With more than 25 years of experience in digital signage, Smartsign has established a scalable business model based on recurring revenues, broad integration capabilities and support for a wide range of hardware platforms. The company employs approximately 35 employees and has demonstrated strong organic growth. 

Through the transaction, Smartsign welcomes an active partner to further develop its offering, expand geographically and strengthen its organisation. Standout Capital has extensive experience supporting Nordic growth companies, and together the parties see significant potential in Smartsign’s continued development.
