Translink Corporate Finance advised Impact Bridge, the Spanish impact investment manager, on its investment in IKOS Advanced
Translink Corporate Finance™ in Spain acted as the financial advisor to Impact Bridge Asset Management on its investment in IKOS Advanced, a Spanish agri-tech company specialised in precision agriculture solutions that help farmers optimise irrigation, automate field operations and improve agronomic decision-making through data and artificial intelligence.
Through this transaction, Impact Bridge acquired a minority stake in the company, supporting IKOS in its next phase of growth. The investment was made through IB Sustainable AgriFood Fund I, Impact Bridge’s private equity strategy focused on supporting Spanish agri-food SMEs in their growth and transition towards more sustainable operating models.
IKOS Advanced provides an integrated technology ecosystem for farm management
Founded in 2019 in Almería, IKOS Advanced has developed an integrated technology ecosystem combining proprietary sensors, controllers, connectivity, cloud infrastructure and digital tools for farm management. Its platform enables farmers to monitor soil, climate and crop conditions in real time, automate irrigation and other agronomic processes, and make more accurate decisions on water and fertiliser application.
The company combines IoT-enabled field hardware with software, analytics and AI-based decision-support tools to transform agronomic data into actionable recommendations and operational automation. This integrated approach supports the digitalisation of agriculture and promotes a more efficient use of scarce resources, particularly water.
A new phase of growth for IKOS Advanced
The transaction supports the execution of IKOS Advanced’s 2026–2030 strategic plan, aimed at accelerating the development of its technology platform, increasing the weight of recurring revenues and reinforcing deployment capabilities in priority markets. The company will continue enhancing its platform and service offering, strengthen its proprietary generative AI environment, participate in applied innovation programmes and expand its commercial and operational capabilities. IKOS also expects to combine organic growth with selected complementary acquisitions.
As part of this next stage, IKOS plans to accelerate development and evolve its model towards a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) approach, integrating services, data and functionality into a unified environment. This strategy is expected to support international expansion, strengthen strategic partnerships and further scale the company’s offering across agricultural customers and use cases.
Comments from Impact Bridge Asset Management
Fernando Sanz-Pastor, manager of IB Sustainable AgriFood Fund I at Impact Bridge, highlighted the strategic rationale of the investment, pointing to IKOS’s combination of technological innovation and agricultural know-how in addressing efficient water use and more sustainable agricultural production.
Comments from IKOS Advanced
Joaquín Soriano, CEO of IKOS Advanced, described the transaction as a significant milestone in the company’s development, enabling IKOS to accelerate international growth, strengthen alliances and scale a platform-led model in which artificial intelligence plays a central role.
