Translink Corporate Finance in Australia acted as the advisor to Fire Services Queensland (FSQ), providers of fire services and system maintenance services, on the sale to BGIS, a global leader in integrated facility management services.
FSQ offers specialist capabilities in fire life safety
FSQ offers a comprehensive range of fire protection services, including design, installation, servicing, maintenance, training, and compliance support across various residential and commercial sectors. The range of services cover the testing, installation, maintenance, and certification of all fire safety systems such as fire detection and smoke alarm systems, fire extinguishers, fire doors, passive fire protection and penetrations, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, fire hose reels, hydrants, tanks, and fire pump sets. FSQ also provides evacuation training and procedures.
FSQ management backed by BGIS
Headquartered in Chermside, Brisbane, FSQ is led by Managing Director James Norman and supported by a team of 75 professionals made up of electrical technicians, portable/ passive technicians, wet fire technicians, compliance managers and business support services. FSQ services clients in the key sectors of health, transport, commercial and infrastructure.
FSQ’s leadership team will continue to manage the business under the leadership of Daniel Howard, Managing Director, APAC: Self Perform & ITS.
