Translink Corporate Finance acted as the advisor to GRÄPER on its acquisition of Innecken Elektrotechnik and a majority stake in Enervision
Translink Corporate Finance in Germany advised GRÄPER, a leading German provider of integrated energy infrastructure solutions and transformer stations, on the acquisition of Innecken Elektrotechnik GmbH (Innecken Elektrotechnik), based in Euskirchen, and a majority stake in Enervision GmbH (Enervision), based in Aachen.
GRÄPER reaches positioning milestone
The transaction marks a significant milestone in GRÄPER’s ongoing strategy to position itself as a full-service partner for energy projects across all voltage levels.
GRÄPER employs around 1,200 people at ten sites in Germany, the Netherlands and Slovakia. The company’s product and service portfolio covers transformer stations, medium- and low-voltage technology, digital grid solutions and comprehensive services for energy infrastructure projects. By combining SF6-free technology, intelligent solutions and decades of engineering experience, GRÄPER plays an active role in shaping the energy transition. In addition to its activities in energy technology, GRÄPER also produces and distributes high-quality lime sandstones for the construction sector.
Innecken Elektrotechnik GmbH, based in Euskirchen, has over 110 years of experience in planning, installing, and servicing high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems. The company is known for reliable end-to-end solutions and strong regional expertise in electrical engineering.
Enervision GmbH, based in Aachen, develops technical software and digital solutions for the energy sector. For over 20 years, it has supported grid digitalisation with customised software, driving innovation and efficiency in energy networks.
Expansion along the entire energy value chain
With the acquisitions of Innecken Elektrotechnik and Enervision, GRÄPER strengthens its position as a full-service provider for energy projects by expanding its installation and service network into the Rhineland, entering the high-voltage segment, and enhancing its digital and software capabilities. This strategic step broadens GRÄPER’s technical scope and regional presence, supporting its transformation into a one-stop partner for the energy transition.
