Translink’s partner in Sweden, Anecta, acted as financial and strategic advisor to Miss Group in their second acquisition in 2022. The acquisition of Cloudnet is a return for Miss Group to the Swedish M&A market.

Miss Group has acquired the web hosting business Cloudnet, Sweden’s largest managed hosting company specialising in the operating system Linux. Cloudnet currently services c. 500 SME customers primarily located in Sweden.

The acquisition of Cloudnet takes the total number of acquisitions Anecta has completed together with Miss Group since 2018 to 18 transactions. Miss Group’s ambitious growth trajectory saw proforma revenues for the year ending December 2021 reach €66 million with a 43% EBITDA margin.

With strong organic growth and future acquisitions, the Group anticipates reaching €100 million turnover and 45% EBITDA margin within the next 12 months. Headquartered in Stockholm, Cloudnet was established in 2010 by Magnus and Anders. The founders will both leave the business post-acquisition, with day-to-day management transitioning to Miss Group’s established management team in Sweden.
