The Irish company Kingspan acquires Vestfold Plastindustri in Norway
Kingspan has reached an agreement to acquire all the shares in Vestfold Plastindustri AS. Included in the acquisition are the daughter companies Bokn Plast AS and VPI Ps AS, as well as Vestfold Plastindustri Eiendom AS. Vestfold Plastindustri AS is a leading Nordic manufacturer of corrosion-free tanks in glass fiber reinforced polyester, GRP. The company has 86 employees and had turnover of 150 MNOK in 2017 and an EBITDA of ~14 MNOK. Kingspan is a global leader in high performance insulation and building envelope solutions and has over 11 000 employees in over 60 countries worldwide. Kingspan had revenues of 3,7b Euro in 2017. The company is headquartered in Ireland. Synergos acted as financial and strategic advisor to the shareholders of Vestfold Plastindustri AS.
