Translink Corporate Finance announces the sale of Swedish wood supplier Skanditrä AB to Austrian JAF Group. Translink acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Skanditrä’s sole owner, Finnish investment company Hartwall Capital Oy Ab.
Skanditrä focuses mainly on trading lamellas and sawn hardwood for the parquet flooring industry. The company’s main markets are in Europe and Asia. The company was founded 1941 in Sweden and has warehouse operations in Sopron/Hungary.
JAF Group is Central Europe’s leading wholesaler for wood and wooden materials. JAF Group has 50 sites in 13 countries serving wood processing industry, construction sector and resale.
With the acquisition of Skanditrä, JAF Group enters a new line of business, and the already broad product range will be further expanded.
