The Zeppenfeld Group has more than 175 years of production experience in rail vehicle construction. The group company VIS GmbH with 200 employees is active in the modernization, conversion and redesign of rail vehicles. In 2019 VIS acquired FEW GmbH in order to increase capacity and further grow their operations.
FEW Besitz GmbH holds all assets necessary for the execution of the operational business, in particular the real estate in Blankenburg, where FEW GmbH carries out maintenance and repair work on freight cars.
Rationale for the transaction: Acquisition of the property and all related facilities to secure the long-term business operations of FEW GmbH at the Blankenburg location.
Translink acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of the Villmann Group.
